Accepting the Rising Star award at USITT 2011

On Tuesday, March 8th, I gave a guest lecture and master class on projection design for the theatre department at Winthrop University in South Carolina and the very next day attended the annual USITT conference to be presented with the Rising Star award sponsored by LiveDesign magazine. I had never been to USITT, and was extremely honored and proud to receive the award. LiveDesign Online wrote a nice article about the event, and a more detailed profile will be published in the March 2011 print edition of LiveDesign.
