In this dance adaptation of the classic fairytale, Cinderella trades in her glass slipper for a ballet slipper. While the performance was as charming as Cindy’s prince, the show wouldn’t have been the same without the projections and lighting setting the scenes we all know and love. It was a magical reimagining of the rags to riches story and this production was truly fit for royalty.
Choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon (2015 Tony Award; An American in Paris), Lighting Design by Natasha Katz (Disney’s Frozen) Puppetry Design: Basil Twist (2015 MacArthur Fellow); The world premiere of Cinderella was danced by the Dutch National Ballet in The Amsterdam Music Theatre.
